- Answer I purchased this Macbook Air for my daughter & it was the 2019. We returned it & ordered from Apple online as theirs was a better price and it included free AirPods... and most importantly, I was told by them that they would only sell the most recent model. It was back ordered & took 3 weeks to get here though...but that was the machine we wanted, so it was worth the wait for us. The way to know for sure if a model is a 2019 vs a 2020 is the arrow keys. My daughter knew as soon as she opened it that they sent us a 2019 model. Hope this helps!

- Answer no but you can by a adapter that will allow you to attach a usb.

- Answer No one knows this answer, but this Particular model came out March of this year. So a newer model is not likely for another year or so. This does not mean that there will not be a new release in a different line of Apple computers like the Pro or the desktop since Apple seems to like to stagger the releases.
