• Yes it is. They send out frequent updates even if its not the most up to date tech theyve made

• As of 2025, this is still compatible with macOS updates. It supports macOS Sonoma, and while we can't guarantee support for future version beyond that, Apple typically provides updates for Macs for 6-7 years.
