- Answer Non pro chips (m1/m2/m3) only support a single external monitor by default. There is an adapter by other world computing that will allow 2 external monitors with these chips called "OWC USB-C Dual HDMI 4K Display Adapter with DisplayLink".

- Answer I got the M2 but used the difference in price to get more RAM & SSD. That should serve your purpose fine.

- Answer Compact dual USB-C. But you can use any USB-C charger as long as it produces a higher wattage without using the MagSafe port.
