• It's not BestBuy. Apple "currently" only has 2 options for the MacBook Air 15. 1 - 8gb ram, 512gb SSD 2 - 16gb ram, 1tb SSD

• Because Best Buy sucks. The idiots who work there have ZERO knowledge of MacBooks and will BS just to make a sale. Go to the Apple Store- much better selection and they actually are schooled on Apple products.
