“I am interested in purchasing this laptop. The MacBook air I purchased in 2015 has an SD drive port on the side with a few USB ports. Does the new latest MacBook Air have an SD drive and USB ports and if not, can I buy an adapter. Please advise. Thank you”

There are not SD drive ports nor are there USB ports; there are two USB-C ports, and there are a variety of adaptors you can purchase separately for other ports. They can run as little as $25 and add SD and multiple USB ports.
