The m5 maybe seem newer, but the it only comes with 10 core gpu and cpu, while the m4 pro chip comes with more gpu and cpu for heavier work load. The m5 maybe quick but if you’re dealing with a heavy workload of editing processing, the m4 pro chip would be the one to go with.
