• While there are many less expensive Windows based computers, Apple builds a fantastic product and the IOS is (in my opinion and experience) superior for technical and artistic applications. Photo editing, audio, video, and CAD all seem to be better served by the MacBook. Your choice of computer may be influenced by his major and your budget.
