• If you open it, you'll notice every single thing is soldered in. Just buy an adapter, and a CD drive.

• IF you absolutely need to use a CD to install your drawing pad software. you'll need an external CD drive. But usually, manufacturers of drawing pads and other accessories have a link to download drivers or software directly from their support site as well. So you may not actually need an external CD drive.
