- Answer iMovie was on mine. I upgraded to MacOS Sierra almost immediately, and iMovie is still on my MacBook Pro.

QuestionI want to upgrade the memory to 8gb or 16gb right away. Is that possible to do it myself ? I also want to upgrade the hard disk drive to 256 solid state (flash) from the 500gb conventional drive. Can I do that myself ?

- Answer yes, get the 16gig PNY package, works great with no errors and yes to the SSD, easy upgrade, unplug the old and plug in the new, I also went with the PNY 240gig, great price and just as fast as all the other SSD for sale here. I went from a 52 second boot up to a 13 second boot up in El Capitan and a 17 second boot up in Sierra Beta 7. Very stable and dependable

- Answer Yes. you'll have no trouble with editing videos or making videos. One word of advice, bump up the memory as high as the system will allow, which I believe is shelved between 8 - 16Gb.

QuestionWill the macbook pro go on sale again?I wanted to know if the macbook will go on sale again during Christmas week or after Christmas week. I was supposed to purchase it when it was on sale for $899 but didn't and now its $1,099. Does anyone know if the price will drop soon for the holidays? And if it will be on sale in the best buy stores in hawaii too. I need answers ASAP. THANK YOU.

- Answer I was told when I bought this computer that the reason they had put this specific model on sale was because it was an older model and they weren't selling it anymore. So I doubt this model will even be in the stores anymore. I happened to get lucky and bought the last one in my local store because as you can imagine they sold out pretty fast. Good luck.

Questionwill this work (bluetooth) with my apple TV; my older MacAir would not, nor could it be connected via HDMII would also like to confirm that I could play my DVD's via the onboard burner? and then put them up on my big screen. Would that be hardwired HDMI or Bluetooth? I also have an external DVD burner. Will these ports drive that? Again, I was told that even the new MacAir would not do that as they are not powered ports and most DVD's require that?

- Answer YES...but you'll probably never actually use it. Hindsight being 20/20, I would have gotten a Macbook Air instead. This thing feels like a ton of bricks after a while
