A:Answeryes, get the 16gig PNY package, works great with no errors and yes to the SSD, easy upgrade, unplug the old and plug in the new, I also went with the PNY 240gig, great price and just as fast as all the other SSD for sale here. I went from a 52 second boot up to a 13 second boot up in El Capitan and a 17 second boot up in Sierra Beta 7. Very stable and dependable

A:AnswerI was told when I bought this computer that the reason they had put this specific model on sale was because it was an older model and they weren't selling it anymore. So I doubt this model will even be in the stores anymore. I happened to get lucky and bought the last one in my local store because as you can imagine they sold out pretty fast. Good luck.
A:AnswerYES...but you'll probably never actually use it. Hindsight being 20/20, I would have gotten a Macbook Air instead. This thing feels like a ton of bricks after a while
