Apple Pencil 1st gen works with these models: iPad Air 3rd gen iPad mini 5th gen iPad Pro 12.9 1st & 2nd gen IPad Pro 10.5in iPad Pro 9.7in iPad 6th gen I consulted with apple website to find out this information.
