Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The Apple Pencil Pro is not listed as being compatible with the iPad 10th Gen. The 10th Generation iPad does not have the magnetic charging features either, even though it does have the magnetic attachment feature. It looks to me as if the only Apple Pencil compatible with your model is the USB-C version, which does not have magnetic charging. I understand that you can charge it directly from the iPad via USB-C, however, like the old Lightning Port 1st gen Pencil. If it is the same experience I had with my 2nd gen pencil and iPad Air M2, the iPad will never recognize its presence. I only discovered that this combination was completely incompatible when I noticed it does not align properly with the magnetic charging feature. I should mention, the Apple Pencil USB-C works with the Air M2, as does the Apple Pencil Pro; therefore, this will attach to the iPad 10th Gen. However, that's moot point if it is not compatible.
