“How big is the screen on this iPad and does it work with kindle books”

The screen is about 5"x9" (I believe you can find the exact dimensions on the product description). It's a great size as a reader, which is the primary purpose for which I purchased this iPad. My one disappointment is that the Kindle app does not work on this machine. I guess Kindle did make an app for this version of the iPad mini, but they no longer make it available and the later versions of Kindle don't work with this earlier version of the mini. However, iBook works just fine, as does the Nook app from Barnes and Noble.
