- Answer Factory unlocked means that you purchased it directly from the Company. It was sold to the consumer pre-unlocked and ready to use with the carriers the built-in band's support. While network unlock means that the phone was purchased from a provider/carrier and was then unlocked by them.

- Answer This is an unlocked phone which means that you must purchase a SIM card ( which is cheap in cost ) for whatever your carrier is. My carrier is tracfone so SIM card is the same. I looked on bestbuy site and didn’t find any for metro, sorry.
