• Just covers the back and edges. I never take it off. I have the separate glass protector on. I have the keyboard case when I need that

• This is only a case, thus not foldable. You'll need to purchase the Apple's Smart Cover for protection for the screen. This does not come with the protective shield, nor does the Smart Cover.
