“I would like a keyboard for my 9 year old’s iPad 7th generation. I put a drop resistant, kid proof case on it. Will this still work with a big case on the ipad? If not, is there a different option that would work?”

Hello, Depending on the case, the Apple Smart Keyboard will definitely work. First, make sure that the case on your iPad has the left side (left of the power button) fully open. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.In order for it work, it needs the 3 little metal dots on the side of the iPad. It would need the side completely clear as it attaches. The keyboard is a cover as well, so if your see that as an option it is ok.
