Faster processer, better internet connection, cooling fan to keep things running better, I have on 1080P TV and it is worth the difference in price.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. One of the first things I read in my research for the 5th generation is that Wired and Wi-Fi now supports super-high gigabit speeds. The 4th generation Apple TV only supports that through Wi-Fi. Also, the processor in the latest has been upgraded, so it’s much snappier. Apple Remote seems like they improved it too. I have used a 4th Generation Apple and works good in my opinion. I will be trying the 5th generation this Christmas and confirm how much better it is.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I heard Atmos, Dolby Vision and 4D HDR are available only for this version. When in Netflix if movie offers Atmos, it only available for this version.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, there’s 4K, faster processor, variable frame rate, and a number of other features.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is quite a bit of difference in the speed and memory and processing power from the 4th generation Apple TV. Unless you have a 4K TV you won’t be able to take full advantage of the 4K resolution. Even then some of the streams from YouTube, Netflix, and Amazon are scaled and not true 4K and HDR. Some of those services are better utilized from your smart 4K TV versus thru the Apple 4K TV device.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not too much. Interface wise. But the keen difference is the 4K HDR playback that is supported on this model.
