This is a restriction that DirecTV places on the stream so you can’t just share it unfortunately. You can download the DirecTV Now app from the App Store on the Apple TV though and it will allow you to stream DirecTV to your TV.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Instead of mirroring the iPhone try using AirPlay. Some content restrictions prevents AirPlay and I’ Not certain about Direct tv since I don’t use that service.

Your Wi-Fi TV and your iPhone must both be on the same Internet connection in order to even find apple streaming icon. Some people make the mistake of thinking they can use cellular in order to stream to the TV. One course of action may be to try to stream with your iPhone Wi-Fi and TV on the same inter-net service. To roll this out you can temporarily turn cellular off on your iPhone and use only wifi that is identical to the Wi-Fi on your TV

Two ways to solve this: 1) If available, download and use the Apple TV-specific app, or 2) purchase an HDMI splitter or converter that doesn't comply with the HDCP protocol. The first option is a far simpler solution.
