You do not need an apple tv system. You just need to be able to connect to HDMI and you can watch on your devices

Please try again later.I'm not familiar with Vizio's Smart TV, but I can tell you I tried and failed multiple times to do a screenshare from multiple Apple devices to my Samsung Smart TV. If you want to put in a lot of work and research you MIGHT be able to get it to work through a Web Browser Google Chrome/Chromecast-like extension....but if you want it to be easy, and you want to just mirror whatever is on your Mac Pro, then get the Apple TV.
