• I own the 4th generation model because I don’t have tv’s with 4k resolution - yet. The difference between the 4th generation and 4k device is support for higher resolution tv’s (4k models), but if you don’t have newer 4k tv’s in your house the 4th generation will save you some money. I however would still buy the newer 4k Apple TV with future tv upgrades in mind.
