• No u should not get it for the series 42…u must get the smaller one it will fit just fine 40-41mm

• It should fit! The sizes usually are for 42mm - 44mm for the band. If not, return it!

• Yes. According to the Apple website the bands are interchangeable. 38/40/41mm bands can be used together and the 42/44/45mm bands can be used together.
