• It’s splash proof. Don’t submerge in water, and wouldn’t recommend it in a pool. There are several apps on swimming

• Yes its rated water resistant for general swimming but not for diving. Always rinse off the watch with fresh water though after swimming because the chemicals in the water tight seals inside the watch can be damaged over time by chlorine in the pools and salt in the ocean.
