you have to buy a watch that has cellular option on it... you don't have to add it to your plan right away but the watch has to have the capability (read the watch descriptions it will say if it is a cellular watch)

I gave the GPS Watch to my daughter and bought the GPS Cellular for myself. I am always on the go, take long walks, and I hate being tied to my phone. Now I'm not.
