• It does not specifically state what firmness the bristles are, but I can only use a soft bristle toothbrush because a medium can cause my gums to bleed almost right away. These brush heads have not caused any bleeding after over two weeks of use.

• they are medium brushes but they are perfect. i usually use soft brushes but this brush is perfect.
