- Answer because of new models AVR10 which is now offers for $2499. this is better than the brands you suggested due to DIRAC calibration. it is less on features and better on sound.

QuestionThe description says 7.1.4. Does that mean it has 11 channels And power 11 speakers? In the picture it only shows 7 speaker connections in back.

- Answer If you want to do a 7.1.4 system you will need to add another two Chanel amp. The receiver is set up to add the needed equipment. I do not have an ATMOS system. You CAN however do a 5.1.2 without adding another amp.
