because of new models AVR10 which is now offers for $2499. this is better than the brands you suggested due to DIRAC calibration. it is less on features and better on sound.

Please try again later.this is very good price for an ARCAM product, the advantage of this price is that one can use this to run surround and Atmos speakers and use the pre amp out to run either fronts or left right speakers (if they are larger) with separate amplifier. so that $1000 saving will get you a decent amplifier 150-250 watts per channel to run front speakers. this would be best way to run powerful system for large rooms, for small room 60 wpm all channel driven is enough.
