- Answer This system doesn’t require a base station. We have another set of cameras attached to a base station. When we bought this one, you just had to add the cameras. They’re independent of the hub.

QuestionWould I be able to use this if I need to take a picture? Without it blinking? The dentist office I go to has a small camera where they take our picture without a flash and they save our picture to our file.

- Answer Unsure. I believe it took about 3 hours to charge. All I did was connect the charger to the camera. In no time it was charged! Easy peasy!

- Answer Yeah but you may have to constantly reset it. Look into a blink system. It may run off normal battery's but its what im trusting my motorcycle to. As ive yet to have to reset the camera. Arlo. At lest twice a day missing motion sensors and activations. Blink...... Hold my beer.

- Answer All of the Arlo cameras can be configured to simply notify you of motion of whichever type you want to be notified of. I do not use the alarm on any of my cameras but I receive notifications of specific types of motion from each. Cameras I have or have used are the Essential, Pro3 Spotlight, Pro4, Ultra2
