A:AnswerThe Arlo Essential Spotlight camera can connect directly to your router's wifi network and be added to the same Arlo account where your Arlo Ultra cameras are connected to. Alternatively, you may connect the camera to an Arlo VMB5000, VM4540, VMB4500, VMB4000 SmartHub or base station. ^RM
A:AnswerIf you have the camera model VMC2430 then you have the Arlo Essential Spotlight cameras which don't require an Arlo SmartHub for them to work. They can connect to your router's wifi network directly. Please refer to the quick start up guide that it comes with for steps on how to install the cameras. A:AnswerI bought online (was not available in local stores). No promo code to set up the subscription in product or in emails. Arlo app seemed to automatically start a one month, not three month, trial subscription and I can only use play/live camera, regardless of my settings. I contacted geek squad and after 20 minutes they told me to contact customer service. I am still waiting for a response from customer service. Very frustrating. Has anyone else had these issues and if so, any suggestions in resolving them. Thanks.

A:AnswerThere is no power cable due to it being a wireless unit. It does come with a charging cable that it relatively short, you only need to charge these cameras about once maybe twice a year. They're expected to last on a full charge 6 months.
A:AnswerRecording only when motion detected. It is a god camera, so it would probably work through glass. May sure your window is clean. Sensitive camera.
A:AnswerYes! You will receive notification that the battery level is getting low and to charge the batteries in plenty of time before they completely drain. Hope this helps!
