Are there any monthly fees to pay? null

There are no monthly fees unless you choose to keep the videos longer than 7 days.

There can be. I use the free version. It allows you to save the video snapshots for up to 10 days. Which for me seems like plenty of time to figure out if you need a video. Anything more than that will have a monthly fee.
