I have an add-on camera that I placed 435' from the router and it works great. That being said the camera is a direct shot from where the router is set up in my house. My other cameras are installed much further than 25' from the base and also work well. I will attach two photos so that you can see how far the camera at the end of my driveway is from my house.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.it depends on where the location is from the base, and how many walls and other obstacles there are between them. I have a camera outside my garage and inside my detached garage. They are located about 100 feet or so away from the base station. They both provide good video to the base station most of the time. Once in a while, I will get a glitch in the recording, but that doesn't happen very often.
