A:AnswerYou can purchase extra batteries and charger through Best buy and Amazon. Arlo batteries are more reliable than 3rd party. I have both. The charging unit does not have to be arlo brand and there are stations that charge up to 4 batteries at once.

I would highly recommend buying the arlo hub. Since doing so i have had 100% signal on both my devices with no issues to our wifi. I also have no problems viewing theu the app with the hub.
Its a MUST purchase.
