While I can manually set areas to detect, it will still record everything that it detects within it view. You can adjust the field of view to reduce and improve detection at 110*, 125* and 180*. A:AnswerThe arlo pro 4 has no SD card everything is streamed through the arlo app or online. It only detects motion and sound. The arlo app notifies you if it’s a vehicle, person, or animal. That way you don’t see long footage of nothing and only captures important things and sounds.
