The Arlo Pro 5 comes with a rechargeable battery that you can recharge. You can also purchase the 25 ft. outdoor charging cable, which connects to a 110V outlet if you would like the Arlo Pro 5 to be constantly connected to power.

It is a rechargeable battery but if you really wanted to keep it plugged in and charging I guess you could. It’s a magnetic charger so could come off pretty easily.
