I believe you can add / purchase up to 5 cameras per base / free account. Cameras can be purchased separately from Best Buy. If you want more than 5 cameras you may either upgrade (for a fee $) your account with arlo and or create an additional account for an additional base system. I have 6 of which only 5 I can use with a free account and 1 base unit.
