“What kind of batteries does it take?”

• You are supposed to use non rechargeable CR123 lithium 3-volt photo batteries (4 of them). Arlo says not to use "inferior" batteries. They list Panasonic, Energizer and Duracell as "well known" manufacturers. They discourage the use of any rechargeable batteries...... "they may pose a fire hazard or they may damage your camera.

• The IP security camera uses 85177 CR123A Lithium Batteries.

• The literature is woefully lacking. Had to open the box to find that it takes 3 Lithium 123 (3volt) batteries.
