“is this modem compatible with RCN in New York city for internet/TV & phone service”

• i have RCN in chicago and it is not compatible with their service. the only modem that you can use is the modem that RCN provides. they do that on purpose to make you rent a modem from them. i tried two other modems and neither worked. if you call them they will verify what i just said.
