“is there a way to boost the signal for the WIFI ? i live in a 900 sq foot house and my router is in the bedroom and the signal in the living room is fair to good @ best.. As a result, the Amazon Fire TV in the living room loses WIFI signal sometimes.”

If you connect an independent wireless router to it . This seems to give it an amplified effect.

The most recent one I bought was the Netgear EX6100 and it works great. Warning;: call the support people to help you set it up otherwise it might not work because the instructions for all the extenders I have ever used skip steps.
