The Arris .com website is correct the Arris 1600 is a 8 x 4 channel bonding unit. Arris does make a 16 x 4 channel bonding unit. It is a little more expensive.and in my opinion is worth the extra expenditure. 8 X 4 technology is older technology. If you want better streaming with lesser buffering issues, go with the higher 16 x 4 channel bonding.
