The G34 utilizes DOCSIS 3.1 technology and is compatible with Astound Broadband's coaxial cable internet service, supporting speeds up to 1 Gbps. It features a built-in AX3000 Wi-Fi 6 router, making it well-suited for modern home networks.

Please note that the G34 does not support Astound's Digital Phone service.

For customers using Astound's fiber-to-the-home or Ethernet-delivered service, the G34 can be reconfigured to function solely as a Wi-Fi router by disabling its integrated cable modem.
