“What firmware version do these devices come with now? Has the firmware update issue with Xfinity been resolved? I read online that Xfinity has had problems with updating firmware (they don’t), which could affect the device’s performance.”

xfinity help in activation installed the changes required. Activation from the app failed, but chat help fixed it, just took more time.
