A:AnswerThe biggest difference is the Arris Surfboard pro Max has fast speeds overall and on the 5GHz band. The Arris has double the speeds on the 5GHz band going up to 4.8 while the Netgear Orbi only does 2.4. Both use one of the two 5GHz bands to have the satellite router talk to the man router which is the back haul as they call it. I personally bought the Arris Surfboard mAX Pro and did an unboxing and review on YouTube!
