• I use Magic Jack a VOIP phone service. The jack plugs into the router not the modem.

• Yes, if you have Xfinity as your service provider, you can opt for SBV2402, SBV3202, T25 or SVG2482AC based on your requirement. All of them have VOIP ports that you can utilize
