• knee jerk yes....ISP maybe problematic. What you have behind it is really not relevent.

• You only bridge if its a router/modem combo. This is only modem so you will be fine.

• This modem does not have built-in Wi-Fi so there is no setting for bridge mode. It is compatible with any Wi-Fi router so once you activate it with your service provider, it will be ready to connect to your router.
