If you plug a computer into the Ethernet cable, do you get an internet connection? If yes, then you want to buy a wireless router. This modem will not be part of a solution if you cannot use coax.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sounds like you bought the wrong device. This is a modem to interact with a cable internet provider. If you have a DSL provider you will need a DSL modem. If what you mean is you already have internet access from your wall ethernet line, then it sounds like all you need is a wifi router. Which you will need in combo with any modem anyway.
