SB6190 will provide support for 1 public IP address. So at a time only 1 device can be attached to the modem and obtain the public IP address. You can connect additional client devices to a 3rd party router which in turn will be connected to the SB6190 modem

However, I just looked over the User Guide and Quick Setup Sheets and can't find any info about a firewall. Normally, you would connect this to a router / firewall that would then be connected to your network. There is virtually no limit to how many addresses you can have behind your firewall. Most consumer routers are configured by default with a class C network address and give you anywhere from 100 to 250ish addresses with no need for you to tweak anything. You can customize them to fit your needs, but out the out of the box config is usually appropriate for a home network and doesn't require you to get too technical. The routers can be had for very little and usually provide WIFI connectivity as well. I hope I didn't miss the point of your question.
