• Probably not, this modem just changes the signal from the carrier to a form that your WiFi can use. Your WiFi router is most likely causing your issues!

• I have a ring doorbell. It works great but you also need to have a wireless router to go along with the modem

• This greatly depends on several factors which I dont know. Is the doorbell getting a good wireless connection to the main Simplisafe hub. If not, then you need to install a Simplisafe range extender. If that is not the issue it depends on what error your receiving or it it's a bandwidth issue with your provider.
