• I have the SB6190 and a MacBook Pro without an Ethernet port. I can connect to it wirelessly through my router or a wired connection using a Thunderbolt to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter.

• Oh Bobo... no, Apple is happy to sell you Thunderbolt dongles for that kind of interconnection. But really you just want a good router. I like the ASUS routers but the Netgear ones are super cool too.
