“I am having centerlink coming to hook up new service at my home. I have my own router and modeum . need to see if I need to get new or if they are combatable with centerlink. router is Arris sb6143 and modeum is linksys ea6350.”

• The arris modem will not work. Actiontec 300 Mbps Wireless-N ADSL Modem Router (GT784WN) Is compatible with century link & only costs about $65-70.

• The arris was not compatible with centurylink. I had to return this item & purchase a Actiontec 300 Mbps Wireless-N ADSL Modem Router (GT784WN) which worked great & was a cheaper option than renting or buying centurylink equipment.
