• This will work to connect Dish receivers such as the Hopper or ViP receivers to the internet provided by your ISP (internet service provider). This is assuming that the router is compatible with your ISP but you will want to make sure of that before purchasing. Keep in mind that you will likely also need/want a router of some sort to enable you to connect multiple devices to your internet connection.

• SB8200 is a cable modem and is compatible with selected cable internet service providers (please verify your internet service provider's compatibility with this modem). Dish is a satellite TV service, please verify with DISH regarding using the DISH service regarding any restrictions on using your own cable modem
