Yes, you can use thE SB8200 device with Comcast's gigabit internet service

Hi mike It will work perfect with comcast. Call your is (comcast) and ask if the 1 gig is available. I didn't have to have a tech come out.....they did everything over the phone and in their system. Hope this helps
