Should be no issue. Just plug a network cable from either of the RJ-45 ports on the SB8200 into the WAN port on the EA4500.

I'm not sure about your question. If you want to connect your old router to this Cable Modem to extend your network, then the answer is yes. I currently have a Linksys router connected to my Cable Modem to extend my hard-wired network. Your Cable Provider should have a list of routers that will work on their service. Since I don't know your Cable Internet provider, I cannot answer your question.
